A selection of newly-released and restored films focusing on issues related to Palestine.
We presented an eclectic selection of new releases, art house cinema, and old gems, along with exclusive presentations and urgent discussions. This year’s festival includes special events with newly restored films by Jocelyne Saab, a commemoration of 50 years since the assassination of Ghassan Kanafani, and a newly discovered work by the elusive filmmaker, Christian Ghazi.

A pioneering filmmaker, photographer, and artist, Jocelyn Saab was best known for her films mixing journalistic documentation with subjective viewpoints. Since her death in 2019, her friends have been restoring and archiving Saab’s valuable works.

Ten years after their first documentary on the nonviolent struggle in the West Bank, the directors return to the village of At-Tuwani and, using archival material more than 15 years old, tell how the children have grown up.
